this is the first of more parallel post to come. just thoughts i have clogged up inside me that i waana let out.
DEVASTATION
picture this, a man's day couldnt be more perfect.
imagine a man got promoted to ceo because his superior retired today. with last words of encouragement the man he used to call "boss" leaves the office. the next time he returns he would just be a petty visitor.
"the company's finally mine!" he says to himself.
man decides to push his luck more and proposes to his girlfriend.
she agrees to marry him! how lucky could he get!
this was his perfect day. dont we all wish we had one? in one day, he became successful in both love life and work life.
day two.
his company goes bankrupt. the man he called boss embezzled all the assets.
strike one.
his wife-to-be gets struck down by a car.
strike two.
he loses everything.
strike three.
OUT.
i think i would be able to empathise with this man. losing everything sucks. especially when you've put everything into an endeavor.

yo!
YES! and the hols are here! no more exams for a whole week!
really happy today cause the last 2 papers (bio and a maths 2) were ok. should be able to mangae a B at least lah. dont think im that stupid:)
later i went to jm's hse to play resident evil with wilson and robin (and of course jm). super scary lah (the game, that is). totally freaked me out when jm was playing. if you're confused, resident evil is a game where you rescue this girl and kill zombies on the way. we played it on a plasma tv so the details were really gruesome (this is not for ppl 16<). i shouted so loud i think i scared jm more than the game did.
tried his strat too (a guitar). really nice sound though it was made in mexico. hope to own a real american fender stratocaster one day. it costs abt 2.1k so i'll probably have to wait long long.
then all the fun had to end when we had to leave. wilson needed to go home himself and i needed to cook rice:( jm ended the game in the end. doesnt feel the same playing it without frens:)
anyway, still planning how to use the next week. must balance play with work. maybe a time table would help?

I"M BACK
hahas:)
such a great day to breathe new life into this blog, the eve of NATIONAL DAY!
maybe the reason why i stopped posting was because i didn't feel i needed to, like not much to say. life has been the same old boring friend with the usual ups and down. but SHIT HAPPENS! and we all rise up from our pits of depressions and sadness:)
today was really fun!
we had orienteering in school where the whole school(1380 of us) left school together to embark on some sort of an amazing race around singapore. my group was great! dan was the main driver(you should have been team leader lah). he knew all the locations to go and was really n2 about the whole thing. we went to novena(velocity), toa payoh bus interchange, golden landmark hotel(bugis) and lastly 268 coffeeshop(queestown). was super tired running around all the time. had to complete so many stations in just 3 hours! but overall, it was fun. the sec1 girls(can't rmb your names, sry) we really cooperative. the ran and help a lot with the tasks given.
after that, had to run back to school for duty.(i neva will forgive you joy!) needed to usher the GOH who was the MOS! he was fine. loved to talk to students i heard. didn't get to talk much with him though with the tight schedule and all. it must be great being the GOH. you have a welcoming party to greet you, ppl stand and clap for you and you get great FOOD! so great being important.
he came to attend the national day ceremony which was really good too!(especiallt the sec2 performance, sedap!). heard from nat that ms tan did a great rendition of "My Island Home". sadly, i missed it as i was serving the GOH food:(
it all ended off with the councillors on duty helping to clear all the food.(glorious FOOD!) hahas:) had a great time to interact with the teachers too like mr lam and george.
hiaz...great memories to keep...
many thanks to gina, nat, joys, mrs chng and ms ng for making today such a fun day.
really lifted my mood even in the midst of the oncoming prelims.
