DEVASTATION



picture this, a man's day couldnt be more perfect.



imagine a man got promoted to ceo because his superior retired today. with last words of encouragement the man he used to call "boss" leaves the office. the next time he returns he would just be a petty visitor.



"the company's finally mine!" he says to himself.



man decides to push his luck more and proposes to his girlfriend.



she agrees to marry him! how lucky could he get!



this was his perfect day. dont we all wish we had one? in one day, he became successful in both love life and work life.



day two.



his company goes bankrupt. the man he called boss embezzled all the assets.



strike one.



his wife-to-be gets struck down by a car.



strike two.



he loses everything.



strike three.



OUT.



i think i would be able to empathise with this man. losing everything sucks. especially when you've put everything into an endeavor.
