such a great day to breathe new life into this blog, the eve of NATIONAL DAY!
maybe the reason why i stopped posting was because i didn't feel i needed to, like not much to say. life has been the same old boring friend with the usual ups and down. but SHIT HAPPENS! and we all rise up from our pits of depressions and sadness:)
today was really fun!
we had orienteering in school where the whole school(1380 of us) left school together to embark on some sort of an amazing race around singapore. my group was great! dan was the main driver(you should have been team leader lah). he knew all the locations to go and was really n2 about the whole thing. we went to novena(velocity), toa payoh bus interchange, golden landmark hotel(bugis) and lastly 268 coffeeshop(queestown). was super tired running around all the time. had to complete so many stations in just 3 hours! but overall, it was fun. the sec1 girls(can't rmb your names, sry) we really cooperative. the ran and help a lot with the tasks given.
after that, had to run back to school for duty.(i neva will forgive you joy!) needed to usher the GOH who was the MOS! he was fine. loved to talk to students i heard. didn't get to talk much with him though with the tight schedule and all. it must be great being the GOH. you have a welcoming party to greet you, ppl stand and clap for you and you get great FOOD! so great being important.
he came to attend the national day ceremony which was really good too!(especiallt the sec2 performance, sedap!). heard from nat that ms tan did a great rendition of "My Island Home". sadly, i missed it as i was serving the GOH food:(
it all ended off with the councillors on duty helping to clear all the food.(glorious FOOD!) hahas:) had a great time to interact with the teachers too like mr lam and george.
hiaz...great memories to keep...
many thanks to gina, nat, joys, mrs chng and ms ng for making today such a fun day.
really lifted my mood even in the midst of the oncoming prelims.
